A fantastic new Facebook Live for Sky Bingo
We’ve created, produced and managed another Facebook Live – this time for Sky Bingo – with amazing results outperforming all set KPI’s.
During the two 40min live streams, Facebook Live viewers saw presenter Amy Nickell in a room full of gem shaped balloons, and were able to comment as the action took place. As the game progressed the balloons were popped each revealing the prize that the contestant had won - reflecting the popular Sky Bingo Prize Burst game in a live action format for the first time.
Designed to convey Sky Bingo’s ‘Expect Excitement’ brand proposition, all aspects of the activity were produced inhouse by bigdog including branded graphics which were overlaid on screen during the broadcast to encourage engagement from viewers, as well as to reveal the winners.
Just shy of £10k worth of prizes were up for grabs, via two live streams at 4pm and again at 8pm.
As well as the giveaway itself, bigdog created and executed a multi-tactic campaign to drive reach in the run-up to the event, ranging from scheduled posts allowing for advance subscription, through to email blasts, app notifications and more. The Facebook Live giveaway activity aimed to support the Free to Play game, “Prize Burst”, which bigdog developed and launched in November.
The Facebook Live exceeded expectations across all of our KPIs, bringing in more reach, video views and comments than we’d predicted. Success was undoubtedly due to the pre-Live promotional strategy, combined with a fast-paced, disruptive idea that really brought Prize Burst to life in the newsfeed.
