New client - Newburn Bakehouse
Newburn Bakehouse is the gluten-free side of Warburtons. They’re a multi-million-pound business with ambitions to be the UK’s most loved free-from bakery brand. The free-from phenomenon has well and truly taken hold in the UK, as new research from Mintel reveals that sales of free-from foods are forecast to grow 13% to reach £531 million in 2016, up from an estimated £470 million in 2015.
The client had been left uninspired by the standard set of credentials and thinking that was previously presented by every Agency they'd met. Newburn Bakehouse wanted to be excited by both the work and the people that they would be working with. They needed an agency to help launch their new range of wraps and sandwich thins using digital, social and email. After a fantastic pitch, bigdog was awarded the work, with the client calling to appoint us on the train home!
The work to be undertaken includes the creation of a new brand proposition, launched using VoD, digital display, and social advertising. This was underpinned by email marketing, a refresh of the website and a highly successful social listening campaign which targeted followers of rival brands.
